Saw this ad on Facebook a few times. No one seems to be taking the bait and RSVPing. I’ve seen other sponsored events with 30k+ RSVPs, so what’s the issue here, especially across a network of 500 million people? Poor targeting, controversial but played out topic, etc?
I don’t think its played out I just think there are more pressing concerns than reproductive rights, at the moment anyway. Jobs, housing, economy, govt shutdown is what’s occupying people’s attention. I find it difficult to focus sometimes, especially when you add the environment, wars in the middle east, the attack on the middle class, and all the other seemingly overwhelming social concerns, not withstanding my own personal dilemmas.
